Child Soldier Youth Project 2006/2007
Supported by Anne Hathaway With an estimated 350,000 children currently serving as child soldiers in more than 30 conflicts around the world, Virtue Foundation has pledged to help educate, rehabilitate, and reintegrate former child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Partnering with actress Anne Hathaway, the Foundation launched the "Child Soldiers Youth Project," raising awareness of child soldiers among high school students in the U.S. and providing them with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these child soldiers. ---
